Fabrication is everything between the slab in the rack and the finished top on your cabinets. Measuring the room digitally. Choosing the layout. Cutting the outline, sink hole, faucet bores and cooktop opening. Shaping and polishing the edge. Building the seams. Stone is cut and finished with routers, grinders and CNC, and that is where a real shop separates itself from a yard that only sells material.

Before cutting, we photograph your slab and place the template pieces on that image. You see which vein runs across the island, where the movement lands on the sink cut, and what gets sacrificed to the cooktop. On larger kitchens we build multi-slab layouts and offer them for customer inspection, so you approve the arrangement first.

Seams are a design decision. We place them where a joint reads as an intentional line, usually behind a sink or at a change of direction, and book-match veined slabs so the pattern mirrors across the joint. Waterfall panels are mitered so the vein runs down the leg unbroken. Curved bar tops and radius returns are cut on the CNC, then hand blended. Solid surface joints leave almost no visible trace. Post-formed laminate always carries seams, which self-edge and wood-edge construction minimize.

We quote in writing after templating.
